I found this list of ideas from this blog HOPESandDREAMS: 30 Things: and decided to try it out.
I have decided to post some fun things about myself over the next month or so. I am going to try to blog daily but that may not happen.

List 20 random facts about yourself:
1. I love being a Mom of three kids. It's fun to teach your kids and watch them grow.
2. I hate doing laundry on a daily basis but if I don't then I will never catch up.
3. I love to read but I don't make the time because I know I will be disappointed if I CANNOT finish the book in a few days.
4. I love painting my toenails bright, random colors. I can't wait to do this with my daughter.
5. I call my Mom almost daily, sometimes several times a day. I talk to my sister daily, sometimes several times a day......we never go more than a day without talking (probably because we are twins).
6. I love the Lord with all my heart. My favorite verse is the first verse I memorized in college:
Psalm 27:1  Of David.

 ¹ The LORD is my light and my salvation—
   whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
   of whom shall I be afraid?

We are trying to be more diligent about reading the bible daily with boys. Stephen loves the bible and soaks it up. He loves Mother's Day Out school at our church that he attends two days a week.
7. After having my 3rd child at the end of 2011 I have realized there is nothing better in life than being a parent. I adore each and every one of my three kids and their adorable personalities. Having 3 kids age 4 and under is hard but I am trying to savor every minute I have with them at this age. I am discussing homophones with my oldest son. His curiosity is fun. My middle son loves to cook or bake. My daughter is .... well she is still tiny but she is starting to develop a personality after 3 1/2 months. God has truly blessed Daniel and I with three, beautiful kids. Don't get me wrong, some days are really rough but they outweigh the love I feel for each of my children.
8. I love Asian food (9 years ago I hated it and would barely eat a spoonful of white rice). It's kinda funny how marrying a guy who grew up overseas has changed me for the better.
9. I like to surprise the boys and take the kids to the park, zoo or paint a picture instead of do chores around the house that NEED to be done.
10. I know more about sports (because of my husband) and I find myself watching sports news when he isn't home. I secretly hope one or more of my kids play sports because it was so awesome for me growing up.  I would love to play flag football or basketball in a church league, if I had the time. I stopped playing flag football after our second child.
11. I love running outdoors. I have started running again to get in better shape after having my 3rd child. I like running alone because it allows me enjoy God's creation of nature. I love running in my neighborhood.
12. My favorite color is purple. One day I want to have a lavender room with purple and yellow accents and make it my "own" space to read, craft, paint, glue, and maybe even sew .... one day.
13. I love fashion but not to the extreme. I just like to dress up and look cute for my husband; large earrings, necklaces, scarves, fun jeans and cute shirts. I also like a pair of running shoes, shorts and a t-shirt on a warm day at the park.
14. I want to take a family road trip to North Dakota. I did my 7th grade state project on North Dakota and have always wanted to visit.
15. I enjoy sitting on the back porch (minus the mosquitoes) drinking a cup of coffee and talking.
16. My favorite season is Autumn. I would love to visit Tennessee where I hear the trees are gorgeous in the Fall.
17. I am not organized. I am trying to get better at it so my children don't grow up to be messy and unorganized, like me.
18. I like birdhouseses. I have wanted to put one in my backyard for years but never have....maybe one day I can have a few birdhouses in my backyard.
19. I love dressing 2 boys. I often dress them alike but I know I need to stop soon.
20. I love photography, as a hobby. I feel like I am so busy with the kids that I have barely learned to use my camera I got in December of 2010.
