Ear Tube Surgery
Today Anna had surgery around 7:45am with Dr. Rainey. He has performed all of our children's ear tube surgeries (4 including Anna). Here is a photo at 6AM when we left for the surgery center in our neighborhood. The first day or so was the usual fussy baby with some low grade fever. She is loving all of her noisy toys. The nurse said she probably hears all of them clearly now.

11 months old
She is 11 months old.
Here is what she is doing:
- says 'Mama and Dada' to both of us
- repeats sounds back at all of us
- cruises furniture, people and the toy box
- will stand for a few seconds on her own
- understands 'no' and cries when daddy says 'no' (it's hilarious)
- loves to roll the ball and push cars
- will us sign language "all done" but prefers to scream and throw her sippy cup off the high chair
- expects to get food from anyone at anytime; feed her food from your plate
- weight: 16.11 ounces
- will grab any and everything; we have had to baby proof continually (finally put up the baby gate)
- still breastfeeding 4 times a day, can go 3 times a day if she will sleep until 6 or 7 AM but usually wakes up around 5am
- eats breakfast, lunch, supper and 2-3 snacks
- favorite food: squash or pieces of apple-- still eats some baby-food pouches for on the go
- pretty much will eat anything she is given
- most recent favorite thing to do is sticks her bottom in the air and her head is down while she looks at you upside down
- likes to be read to but still has a rough time getting through the entire book (usually when I am reading to all three)
- Noni bought her 2 pair of shoes this past week; pink converse and white keds
