24 weeks

I went to my 24 week appointment today. The doctor wants me to see a maternal fetal specialist here in the The Woodlands. She is a specialist in Children's Maternal Fetal Medicine. Basically, Jonathan has spinal fluid on one side of his brain. My doctor found it at my 20 week ultrasound and decided to check it again this week to see if it has reduced. It is still the same size but it could still be fine. Please pray that everything is OK with our little guy. Daniel and I aren't really worried because we realize our little one is in the Lord's hands. I am supposed to receive a phone call tomorrow to set up an appointment as soon as possible.

I had a 3D ultrasound. It is so fun to see how much he is moving. He kept his hands in his face almost the whole time. He had really cute lips and a pug nose just like Stephen.

Thanks for your prayers.

Nani and Papa's House

We went to visit my parents since I am on spring break. We went down Friday morning and came back Tuesday afternoon. Stephen had so much fun playing outside, riding the tractor at the Luling ranch and enjoying his first pair of boots. Here are few pictures of our trip.

Stephen's new seat on Dad's bike

Daniel bought this fun, new seat for Stephen to ride with us on the bike trail. He loves it! Daniel didn't get home until late Tuesday night. To make up for it they went on a bike ride for some father and son bonding time. Yes, we have a helmet for him but Dad didn't put it on yesterday! The weather has been nice lately but it has been very windy and a little chilly in the evenings.

Random Pics

Our new toy chest we found at Target.
Stephen's pictures daycare took when he was 13 months old. This is the best I can do because I had to take a picture of the actual frame.
My growing belly at 22 weeks. Stephen points to my bellybutton and says "baby" so he thinks all bellybutton's are baby. It is hilarious because he says it to Daniel.
Jamie, Gina and I back in November playing football. I am 7 weeks prego and have no clue!

15 month check up

I took Stephen in today to get his shots and check up. He has bronchitis and has been prescribed an antibiotic and will be on breathing treatments 4 times a day for two weeks. I had to administer his first treatment in the doctor's office before we left. The treatment takes about 7 minutes but it seems like forever when your kid is screaming. When it was finally over I think my stomach was in a knot from holding Stephen down while giving him the treatment and making sure his hands were down so he wouldn't pull of the mask. When we came home from the doctor's office I gave Daniel the machine. He is such a good Daddy with great ideas. We waited until about 6pm and then Daniel turned on the machine and started wearing the mask around. By the time we gave him his treatment he was a little better since it was our home and he was used to hearing the machine. Daniel held him while he threw his basketball to me. It worked for the most part but we still had a few crying spells. The first picture is when we were finished because as you can see he is ready to play ball. His favorite word for the last two weeks has been "ball." At 15 months old Stephen is 31 inches long which is 50th percentile in height, 21. 12 lbs and 25% in weight. He is everywhere! We just love him. It is hard to imagine what Jonathan will look like but I am sure they will be NIGHT and DAY!
