Cebu, Philippines Vacation -Day 1 4/23

Excited and ready to to start some vacation. We left Sakhalin on Tuesday around 12:30pm. Our flight landed at Narita airport Aron's 2hours later. We didn't know it but apparently we couldn't check our bags all the way through to Cebu because our flight from Sakhalin (Auroara) isn't a partner with Philippines airline. NOT GOOD! I packed just a large bag for me, one for the kids and one with extra stuff. So we had a 6 hour layover with 3 kids with 3 large luggage bags and a carry on. IT WAS NOT a fun experience. We decided never again to fly this way. We will not take a flight that will not allow luggage check in. So we finally arrived in Cebu after a 5 hour flight. Thankfully we had enough empty seats around us to lay Anna and Jonathan down for 4 hours. Stephen only slept 2 and he was sitting up. We arrived and the kids were so awake, hungry and excited that when we got to our room we ordered room service (at 1am) and I showered all of them good. It was a long day of all of them on the floor and touching all kinds of germs. Pour first day was yesterday and we went to breakfast buffet pool, beach and explored the resort a bit. Then around 3pm we ventured to the mall for about 3 hours. We now remember why going to the mall with 3 kids isn't fun. Our kids a blond whites so they were touched, talked to and smiled at EVERY step they took in the mall. WE STAND OUT! It was fun shopping for some essentials for the kids clothing. 

It was a fun, tiring day on vacation.
