Today is the day... to bake bread

I decided to try a recipe from this lovely book my sweet husband picked up before we jumped on the plane to Russia. 

I thought I would try a recipe that looked yummy and delicious. It is called Chelsea buns. I have all the ingredients except mixed raisins and dried currants. Since the kids only had a 1/2 day of school I let my oldest invite a friend over until 5pm and I let my middle son go to a friends house until 3:30pm. Anna and I watched two Peppa Pig episodes and then decided to make this. 

She did not enjoy the stick dough but she enjoyed it once it was soft in the flour. 

They turned out yummy.
