Christmas Program

The day of the boys first Christmas program my Mom drove in from Gonzales to come with me. On the way to the program there was a horrible accident and a lot of us Mom's missed the program. I went around a back way and ended up making it to the program/party 30 minutes late. I was able to do this craft ornament with Jonathan. He performed his program again but during this time he was done and so were the rest of his 2 year old class. I had to sit with him on the stage because he was crying. I did not get any pictures of the program. I managed to get these pictures from that day. There is a recording of Stephen's program that I am still trying to get so I can see him sing.

Picking out the tree

For the last 7 years we have picked out a tree for Christmas. Here is our first family of 5 picking a Christmas tree. It was very cold so Anna and I didn't stay out long.

 Anna was brought home from the hospital in this outfit. I absolutely love it.

 I love dressing her up. 

She no longer loves to be swaddled. I am using a nap sak now instead. Sometimes she can still be consoled at night if I swaddle her.

Christmas Fun

Wow, we have had a roller coaster of the last three weeks. We are getting used to the fact that we have a new family member. Which means everything becomes harder for Mommy including nap time and finding time to take a shower without a kid coming in to interrupt. I am hoping this gets easier. The boys had their Christmas program at school yesterday.Unfortunately there was a bad wreck on the way to church so Mom and I missed the performance. I was bummed but we ended up getting there 30 minutes late. Jonathan's class did a re-do of their song so I did get to see him and sit with him on stage while he sang a song. He cried the entire time. I did get to make a rudolf ornament with him and then went to see Stephen sing but he didn't get to sing again. I found it was recorded so I plan to get a recording after the holiday's. The boys got to see Mom for a few hours after the performance before she went back to Gonzales.

 My friend, Tammy had her little boy, Oliver 12 days before Anna's birth day. Here is their first playdate. Anna is 1 week old and Oliver is 3 weeks old.

We are enjoying our sweet daughter. She is doing wonderful nursing, sleeping and the rest. The boys are not bothered by her at all. Anna sleeps through all kinds of chaos and tantrums. I am praying this continues. Here are her newborn pictures I had my friend Dee take for me here in the Woodlands at one week old .
