Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party weekend

This weekend Krista and I gave my sister a bridal shower at Mi Rancho Mexican Resturant. It was so much fun meeting some of her friends for the first time and hanging out with high school and college friends. Less than two weeks and my sister will be Mrs. Jamie Bryant.

7 months, June 22nd

Anna Leigh, you are such a joy to have in our family.

- you love to roll around, get up on your knees and rock back and forth.
- went on your longest road trip La fayette, LA with Mommy and Daddy.
- finally figured out that you like solid food. Now eating 3 times a day. Your favorites are sweet potatoes and  Chinese pear with apple mix. You also love, banana, carrot, avacado, mixed vegetables, peaches and oatmeal mix. All your baby food has to be warmed or you won't eat it. I am trying to ween you from this but right now it's worth it as long as you eat. 
- you still won't take a bottle but you love water out of a sippy cup. I have found two sippy cups you will take. 
-  still wear 6-9 month clothes and  can wear some 3-6 month pants.
- Weighing in at 16 pounds and size 3 diaper!  
- not a big fan of the pacifier but you will take it when you are sleepy.
- you love to eat your feet, barefooted or in pajamas.
- you are babbling a lot especially when talking to your brothers.
- you love your Exersaucer and pretty much grew out of Aunt Krista's swing. I can't bear to give it back yet because it means your growing up too fast.
- still nursing 5-7 times a day depending on the day. Just started going 4 hours between feeds once a day. 
- You are finally sleeping 6-8 hours at night again. 
- you love your bath time in your bath chair. 
- my goal is to have you weened to a bottle or sippy cup by 8 months.

My sisters Couples Shower

We enjoyed my sisters couples shower on Saturday evening. I need still need to download the pictures from my camera. Here are a few of my pictures Jamie downloaded Sunday from my camera.

One picture is of our boys, who will all turn 3 in late June and early July, within days of each other.

Sitting up

Anna is 6 1/2 months old. She loves her toys and the boys toys. She is keeping me on my toes.

Stephen is a reader

A few weeks ago Stephen and I were reading a beginning reader from the Bob books set. He starting to sound out simple words. Now he wants to read his Bob books every night.

Family Trip the Grocery Store

Yum, fruits and vegetables. We shall see how 'juicing' goes.
